About us

Our mission

To provide an independent, co-ordinated, and consistent voice to speak to IFS about the products, portfolio, and services that they and their partners provide: to enable access to a broad network of other IFS users; to share knowledge, ideas and experiences of using IFS.

Supporting each other

The IFS UK&I User Group is independent of IFS, it is a not-for-profit, un-incorporated organisation and the committee members are volunteers from IFS Customers, who give their time for free. This enables us to keep the annual company membership fee for IFS customers to a very reasonable £415 +VAT to cover administrative and event organisation costs.

As an IFS customer, you are already aware of the significant benefits of using IFS Applications to support your business. However, there are challenges associated with any system and some of these can be difficult to resolve without experienced external support. This is one of the key areas where the IFS UK&I User Group can help by facilitating networking for our Members both on our website and at the events we organise.

Not-for-profit organisation

We provide a service to IFS Customers in the UK&I and any profit we make is re-invested into the organisation to help us to offer a better service.

Independent from IFS

The User Group is independent of IFS, this allows us to be totally responsive to our Member's needs and wishes.

Run by volunteers

We are run by a committee of volunteers from IFS Customers, between them they have a vast and varied experience of working with IFS.

Connects IFS customers

We encourage our Members to communicate and support each other, our networking facility makes it easy to get hold of the right people.

Organises events

We organise a big annual conference with over 50 presentations and workshops from Customers, Partners and IFS, plus regular free webinars and workshops.

Involves all IFS versions

We try to support organisations who are using older versions of IFS as well as those who are on the newest releases.

Videos of events

We video many of our events and the videos, slides and other information are available to our Members on the archived events pages on our website.

Supported by IFS & Partners

We appreciate the enthusiastic support of IFS and our Partners, who sponsor, attend, present and make themselves available to Members at our events.

Co-ordinated feedback to IFS

We encourage and facilitate our Members to offer feedback to IFS enabling Members to be involved in influencing the IFS Roadmaps.

Reasonable prices

As a not-for-profit, unincorporated organisation, run by volunteers, we are able to keep our Annual Company Membership fees low - only £415 +VAT for 2025.

The more Members we have in the User Group, the better we are – you can achieve best practise by building valuable and mutually supportive relationships with your peers – most User Group events are free to Members – and it is easy to network with your peers between events using our website.
